TAG Heuer Men’s CV2A10.FC6235 Carrera Automatic Chronograph Day-Date Watch Review An incredibly masculine watch that is a flurry of functionality, we think you are going to love the TAG Heuer Men’s Carrera Automatic Chronograph Day-Date Watch. This watch begins with a 43mm stainless steel case and a black-toned bezel with a white tachymeter scale. Two prominent pushers and an accented crown grace the right side of the case. These elements cradle a bold black dial with Arabic numeral minute markers and silver-toned hands powered by Swiss Automatic movement. LightInTheBox Contemporary 12 Light Crystal Flush Mount Chandelier with Chrome Finish Review I looked at 4 or 5 light stores in LA for a similar light under $1000. I couldn’t find anything even close. This light is absolutely stunning! Other reviewers are right, the light takes a lot of time to install. Just relax, set aside at least 2 hours and have some fun. I mounted it without a helper. If I had a helper, it would have been a lot easier.

Four tips: surface that the crystals mount to is covered by a thick adhesive film. Other reviewers have complained that the surface is reflective in the picture, but not in the product when it arrives. You need to peel of that adhesive film! Under that adhesive, the surface is a mirror like polish.
Do not handle the crystals or halogen lights with your bare hands. Buy a pair of latex gloves. Why? It will be difficult to clean your fingerprints off the crystals when they are hung. Also, the oils from your hand reduce the life of the halogen bulbs.
The mounting bracket has four bolts that are used to mate with the lighting fixture. The placement of those bolts (on the horizontal axis) is adjustable. I have no idea why. But, dry fit them before you screw the mounting bracket to the ceiling, then tighten the mounting bolts into position. Please reread that tip one more time once your light arrives. It will save you a lot of frustration.
To attach each crystal to their position, I used a very small pair of needle nose pliers. It helped to depress the metal loop/hook on each crystal without getting my giant hand in the way.

Modern Chandelier “Rain Drop” Chandeliers Lighting with Crystal Balls! H32″ X W18″ Review his was the most beautiful chandelier ive seen .. Shipping was quick, set up was superrrr easy, outcome just gorgeous !!! Anyone who enters my house cant stop talking about it… Its over my 54″ round dining table that seats 6 enough light to brighten the room even not just dining table the hight is perfect too i have a 9′ ceiling and it looks perfect!!! I love, love, love this chandelier!! Delivery was quick ordered on Tuesday rec’d on Friday. It took about 2 hours to put together. Hang the base before putting the balls on. Faster with two people. It is beautiful even when the lights aren’t on. Easy to install. The chandelier is a stunner in our dining room. It looks like it cost $$$$. For the price this is chandelier is worth every penny and more!! I am completely satisfied with the chandelier and would recommend it!!!

IKEA KNAPPA Ceiling Pendant Mood Lamp Modern Art Light Review They do call this a pendant but it is more of a swag lamp meaning that you hang the light from a hook (or two) and then plug it into a regular three-prong outlet. Fortunately, that was just what I was looking for and it really made a nice solution for a room that does not have any ceiling fixtures. The cord is nice and long and with a pure white bulb, the lighting effect is bright enough for a small room or corner. The shade itself is so unusual that it really garners a lot of compliments.

As far as assembly, it was a little surprising how small the box was! You do have to assemble most of it including all of the “petals” which does not take that long once you get the hang of the process. It isn’t difficult but initially a little daunting when you see exactly how many petals there are in the box. Otherwise, the most difficult part was putting the hooks in my ceiling but that was because I’m not the handiest of types.

KOHLER K-9245-CP 2.5 GPM Moxie Showerhead and Wireless Speaker, Polished Chrome Review My wife decided that she wanted to try the Moxie out after seeing it here. This is very strange as my wife is not very tech at all. We got this shower head and it installed in a breeze. I think it may have taken longer for me to walk to our garage to get the silicone tape and the tools.

The unit actually comes in two parts. The first part is the shower head its self. It is a flat round design with a conical whole in the middle. The second part is the Bluetooth speaker its self. The Bluetooth speaker is conical and slips into the hole in the shower head and is held in place with magnets. I moved the shower head around at times with fast jerk movements and the speaker stayed held perfectly in place. The speaker must be removed from the shower head so it can be charged with the included USB charging cable. We plug our USB charging cable into our iPhone charging block to charge it.

Pairing the device was a snap. You first have to hold down the clear button on the face of the speaker. The unit will beep and the clear button will start flashing blue informing you its ready to pair with your Bluetooth device. Pair your Bluetooth device with it through your Bluetooth settings menu. Once the device is paired it will beep and turn solid blue. Moxie is now ready to stream music! You control the volume of the Moxie with your connected device. To turn off the Moxie once again hold down the now blue button for one second and it will turn off.

Delta Faucet 75700 Universal Showering Components 7-Setting Handshower, Chrome Review This does work and it’s a quality product so my criticism is more about the function. As it turns out, if you’re in the shower and you’re not that tall, which my wife isn’t, then you can’t reach the top portion to actually adjust this. And for me, a tall and pretty strong guy, I found that levers / little metal bars that are used to tighten and loosen the adjustment threads need to be pretty tight for the shower head to stay in the desired position. Not a big deal but when you’re trying to loosen it to make an adjustment, it’s actually pretty hard to do so if you’re planning on adjusting your shower head height and angle per use, you might want to consider these thoughts.

Delta 9192T-SSSD-DST Addison Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology and Soap Dispenser, Stainless Reviews We first noticed this faucet when checking out styles in Home Depot. We liked the tall neck, the stainless finish, the spray nozzle and although not necessary the touch feature was pretty cool. The only thing we didn’t care for was the price; at $400 it was more than we cared to spend. But me being a bargain hunter, I set out to find it at a price we could accept. I tracked it for a month or so and bought when it went just below $330 here on Amazon and although we didn’t plan on using the soap dispenser because we only had one hole drilled in our granite, it was cheaper to purchase this set than the faucet alone.

Installation was a nightmare, but only because of the way our kitchen plumbing was “updated” by the previous homeowner. What should have taken maybe 30-45 minutes, took half the day with a two trips to the hardware store. Once installed though it was PERFECT! I thought it would take some getting used to, but I don’t even reach for the handle anymore. It’s nice for someone that likes to cook like me, being able to turn the water on without transferring any food stuff that may be on my hands. The only thing I don’t like is if it’s turned off in the spray mode it drips for a few seconds, but I don’t notice this when it’s on stream.

As a note this faucet will work for a single hole like ours that doesn’t require a faceplate, but it will also work on a 2 or 3 hole set-up.

Pfister 133-10SS Pfirst Series Single Handle 1 or 3-Hole Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet, Stainless Steel Review I purchased this faucet to replace the “upgrade” that was installed by our builder. It too was an entry level, but American Standard brand.

Pros
Long reach hose – easily reaches beyond our deep well sink to the counter to fill large pots, buckets, etc.
Pressure – thhis faucet appears to have a tad more water pressure than our old one. Not sure if the difference is actually age(mineral buildup) related.
Handle – the handle on this model is very simple and with a quick turn your hot or cold. I’ve seen other models with the long, elaborate handles that, IMO, get in the way.

Cons
Hose material – our old model was a tough, braided stainless. This model is a synthetic, plastic looking material. Not sure how it will hold up
Hose weight – our old model used a weighted plastic half-sphere to assist the hose when retracting. This model is just a half-spherical piece of steel. When the hose comes in or out it clanks and clunks underneath much louder than our old one.
Connections – my old faucet had 16″ hoses that hung from the bottom of the faucet for a direct connection to the water inlets. This model comes with short, stubby copper connections that will require a trip to the hardware store for adapters (unless you are a plumber and have extra copper, flaring tools, etc. on hand). ALso, with the short connections, if you have a deep well sink like me, it’s very difficult manuvering tools under and behind in order to tighten the connections because they only drop down a few inches. This added about an extra 30 minutes to the install and a few select, 4 letter words for my kids to learn.

Overall, I think this is a good quality faucet for the price (< $100), but the short connections kind of ticked me off. I would have paid a bit extra for them to give a few extra inches of copper or use braided hose like most of the others in this category. I’d give it a 3 1/2 if I could but the short connections and hose wieght noise are too much of a con to give it a full 4.
